Shenandoah Valley Music Camp - Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Shenandoah Valley Music Camp (“SVMC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By registering for, attending, or participating in any program, class, lesson, camp, workshop, or event offered by Shenandoah Valley Music Camp, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Programs and Services
Shenandoah Valley Music Camp provides music education services, which may include camps, group classes, private lessons, workshops, rehearsals, and performances. Program details, schedules, tuition, and requirements are provided at the time of registration and are subject to change.
2. Eligibility and Registration

Participants must meet any age or skill requirements specified for each program.

For participants under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must complete registration and agree to these Terms and Conditions on the participant’s behalf.

Registration is not complete until full payment is received.
3. Tuition, Fees, and Payment

Tuition and fees are listed at the time of registration.

Payment must be made at the time of registration.

Shenandoah Valley Music Camp reserves the right to cancel or suspend enrollment for nonpayment.

Any additional costs (such as instruments, instrument accessories, packed lunch) are the responsibility of the participant unless otherwise stated.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Refunds, if offered, are subject to the specific program’s refund policy as stated during registration.

Administrative or registration fees may be non-refundable.

Shenandoah Valley Music Camp reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programs due to low enrollment, instructor availability, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, refunds or credits may be issued at our discretion.
5. Attendance and Participation

Participants are expected to attend scheduled sessions on time and prepared.

Excessive absences or disruptive behavior may result in dismissal from a program without refund.

Missed classes or sessions are not guaranteed to be made up.
6. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and other participants. Shenandoah Valley Music Camp maintains a safe and inclusive learning environment. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the program without refund.
7. Health and Safety

Participants must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or special needs at registration.

Shenandoah Valley Music Camp is not responsible for administering medication.

In case of emergency, reasonable efforts will be made to contact a parent or guardian.
8. Assumption of Risk
Participation in music activities may involve physical movement and the use of instruments. By enrolling, participants and/or their guardians acknowledge and accept all reasonable risks associated with participation.
9. Liability Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shenandoah Valley Music Camp, its instructors, staff, and volunteers shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from participation in programs or presence on camp premises, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
10. Photo, Video, and Audio Release
Unless otherwise stated in writing, participants grant Shenandoah Valley Music Camp permission to use photographs, video, or audio recordings taken during programs for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes without compensation.
11. Instruments and Personal Property
Participants are responsible for their own instruments and personal belongings. Shenandoah Valley Music Camp is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
12. Changes to Programs or Policies
Shenandoah Valley Music Camp reserves the right to modify programs, schedules, instructors, pricing, and these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted or communicated as appropriate.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
