Strengthen Instrumental Skills
Students build stronger fundamentals through focused rehearsals, sectionals, and guided practice that reinforce technique, tone, and musical understanding.

SVMC is led by dedicated, qualified music educators who bring years of classroom and performance experience to provide high-quality instruction and mentorship.

Exciting Musical Selections
Students perform engaging small ensemble repertoire that is rewarding while challenging students musically. They will perform a concert at the end of the week for family and friends to showcase all of their hard work.
Band Camp at Shenandoah Valley Music Camp is an exciting, immersive summer experience for students entering in grades 7-12 for the 2026-2027 school year. Students grow as musicians through expert instruction, engaging rehearsals, and collaborative ensemble work that is designed to challenge and inspire. Students must have an instrument to use (other than percussion) and have at least a year of experience in their school band program. The following instruments are welcome to participate: Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, String Bass, Percussion.

Interactive warm-ups and creative activities reinforce musical concepts while keeping students energized, engaged, and excited about learning.

Performances from Professional Musicians
Professional musicians join the camp to perform, teach, and inspire students by sharing real-world musical experiences and insights.
